Studios Space
Along with the classrooms and studios in our main campus, PNCA has the Cornelia and William TC Stevens Studios, located two blocks west of the main campus.
PNCA’s studio annex space provides private working space to students in their final thesis year and shared studio space for third year painting students. The College renovated the former garage space in 2001 to provide students with a work area close to campus where students could explore and create a body of work. The Stevens Studios are located two blocks from campus and give students a high quality workspace in a communal atmosphere. The front of the building has a long clear wall space and natural light and is a gathering place often used for group critiques. The building is filled with natural light from both the sky lights as well as the large glass garage doors which are raised when there is a public opening at the Annex. At the end of the school year, the Stevens Studio becomes a gallery space for the annual Thesis Show Exhibition. Each of the graduates shows a body of work and the exhibition is open to the public with a lively opening night party.
