1:30-2:45pm

Get a taste of the academic life at PNCA by dropping in on a class. Classes include Screenprinting, Letterpress, History of Design Arts, Postmodern Fiction, Animated Arts, among others. Please note: family members are invited to join classes as they reconvene after the lunch hour and leave when ready; classes continue until 5pm.

3-4:00pm Option 1: Attend a mini art history class with Professor Mary Preis. This is a special class for parents to give you a sense of the art history classes students attend at PNCA.

Option 2: PNCA offers students a wealth of study-exchange programs, instructor-led travel programs, and summer programs abroad. Learn more about these and other opportunities at this conversation about International Studies at PNCA.

4-5:00pm The goal of the Office of Student Life is to encourage self actualization by fostering student experiences which aid in discovery and understanding individual strengths and abilities. Come learn about how the Office of Student Life supports the student experience by facilitating opportunities to engage in growth, community, and self-expression.

5:00-6:30pm Enjoy a glass of wine and appetizers at a Family Reception hosted by Interim President Casey Mills.

Dinner on your own. Portland is the culinary capital of the West Coast. From food carts to farm to table, you’re sure to find the perfect meal for you and your student!
