PNCA Faculty Pete McCracken presents new work

CLIP “ART” features serigraphs on canvas that play with the simplicity and notion of clip art. The Mona Lisa and even Michelangelo’s David are two of the subjects, along with more banal, typical “clip art” like an office wastebasket and scissors. A few of the works even have dashed lines around the images, effectively framing the imagery while also referencing process.

McCracken is the founder of CRACK PRESS, a design studio offering “traditional design techniques with modern design acumen.” He is also the owner of Plazmfonts.

OFFICE PDX is an award-winning design store, art gallery + design studio created by designers for designers + appreciators. Hours are 11am to 6pm, Tuesday-Friday; 11am to 5pm, Saturday; Sunday, 11am to 4pm.
