Refunds are calculated on the following schedule for students who have officially withdrawn from PNCA:
|Official withdrawal before the first week of classes:||100% of tuition refunded|
|Official withdrawal during:
first week of classes
|90% of tuition refunded|
|Second week of classes||80% of tuition refunded|

No tuition refunds will be made for students officially withdrawing after the eighth week of classes, or for those students who unofficially withdraw (i.e. all F grades due to lack of attendance). Refunds apply to tuition only; fees are not refundable. Tuition and fees cannot transfer to another semester, nor will PNCA reduce tuition due to absence from class, regardless of reason. The Financial Aid Office calculates refund amounts for all students. PNCA follows the Return of Title IV Funds policy with regard to the return of federal (Title IV) student financial aid. Students should be aware that they may owe a balance to PNCA if they officially withdraw from school; the amount of that balance will be determined by the Financial Aid Office in accordance with the Refund Policy stated above and the Return of Title IV Funds policy as stated in the Higher Education Amendments of 1998. Additional information can be found in the student handbook or by request of the Financial Aid Office.
