PNCA helps finance college expenses through grants, employment, loans and scholarships

PNCA is committed to making its educational programs affordable and accessible in two key ways. First, the College strives to keep its tuition competitive compared to other national colleges of art and design. Second, the College provides, and helps students secure, financial aid in the form of grants, scholarships, loans and campus employment.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. PNCA’s Title IV FAFSA code, required for the FAFSA, is 003207.
  • Apply for admission to PNCA’s BFA program. Please note that students who complete an application for admissions to PNCA and who have submitted a FAFSA form before March 3 will receive first consideration for PNCA financial aid.
  • Receive a Financial Aid award package in the mail. The Financial Aid award will inform the student of the following: any grants, scholarships and/or workstudy aid the College has offered; recommended loans to secure, and directions for securing those loans. These awards are created based on each student’s unique financial needs and merits as demonstrated by the FAFSA and the application portfolio and information. The Financial Aid office is pleased to help guide students and parents through this process.

New students who meet the priority application deadline of March 1 will receive their financial aid packets by the first week in April.

Applicants are encouraged to respond promptly to requests for additional information that may be needed to determine eligibility for financial aid. Students do not have to take any further action regarding financial aid until they receive their PNCA financial aid packages in the mail. Further information on grants, scholarships and loans offered in a PNCA financial aid package can be accessed through the following pages.

PNCA allows for a certain amount of exploration but also really pushes being clear and concise about what we are trying to get across with our work.”
