On-Campus Admissions Events

Visiting a college's campus to tour, engage in workshops, and have real-time conversations is the best way to decide if a college is the right one for you.

To assist you in making the best decision, our Admissions Office hosts a variety of free on-campus workshops, open houses, symposiums and receptions for all prospective PNCA undergraduate and graduate students. Below is an event schedule for the Fall 2017 - Spring 2018 academic year. Check back often as we're always adding new events!

2017 Fall Graduate Symposium, Visualizing Resistance: Examining the Social Function of Art and Design

For three days this October, Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies at PNCA is excited to invite all inquiring gradaute candidates to come learn more about our dynamic suite of graduate programs, and discover how we empower artists and designers to reimagine what art and design can do in the world. Your Portfolio Review: What to Bring

During a one-on-one portfolio review with PNCA representative at an open house or NPD event, prepare your portfolio with 10 to 15 examples of your best recent work (bring original pieces when possible). Digital portfolios are acceptable if it doesn’t limit the experience of your work. Include a variety of pieces that showcase your ideas, imagination, and talent. Keep it simple. There’s no need to spend time and money on frames or matting.
