Alumni Volunteer Opportunities
Stay connected to PNCA faculty and students by volunteering at the College. To learn more about the following activities please call Erin Kane at 503.821.8955.
Alumni Relations
- Help us reconnect to PNCA alumni! Call your former classmates to share the news about PNCA’s new alumni relations program, find out what they’re currently doing, and update their contact information.
- Help plan alumni receptions, panel discussions and workshops.
- Call fellow PNCA alumni and ask them to support the Alumni Fund by making a gift to the College.
Career Advising
- Assist PNCA students with the transition from college to the professional world. Help us reveal the many opportunities that exist by being available for an informational interview, serving on a Career Advising panel, or hosting a tour of your place of employment. We welcome any other ideas or suggestions you have.
- Help students prepare to conduct a job search. Send your resume, and other marketing materials if appropriate, to the Career Advising Office so we can showcase and share them with students.
- Notify the Career Advising Office of internship or employment opportunities.
Admissions
- Review prospective student portfolios. Portfolio reviews occur in cities all across the nation, so tell us where you’re living and we’ll connect you to an upcoming Portfolio Day in your community.
- Sign up to attend a college fair in your area.
Student Services
- Assist with Student Orientation and help us welcome the next class of students to PNCA.
- Introduce new students to all that Portland has to offer by leading an evening or weekend tour of one of Portland’s best neighborhoods.
Special Events
- Volunteer for the Annaul Spring Gala.
- Help plan and implement the annual student art sale.
